Today I interviewed four random people who discussed where they thought Christianity in America was heading.  One guy talked about how he used to be a very firm believer of Christianity but as time went on he became an Atheist, but recently converted back, I thought that was really interesting and useful for my topic.  I also interviewed a Professors that teaches religion and he mentioned  that Black people are more spiritually inclined than white people and added that the decline in religion are mostly coming from the younger Caucasian people.  A girl named Emily Kent, who is a southern Baptist said that she felt that people of today’s society doesn’t really hold on to the values of Christianity compared how it used to be.  On the other my last interviewee felt that Christianity is still holding on strong and headed in a good direction.

Today we are going out to get some B roll for the project, this b roll is from one of the people who will be interviewed for the documentary. His name is Will Barker, he changed his faith from Christianity to Hebrew Isralites 4 years ago. Today is one of the feast days of a celebration that they follow called feast of the tabernacle. Where they sleep in tents for 7 days to imitates what there ancestors had to go through when they were had to sleep outside in tents as they traveled on a journey to freedom according to the bible. When we went there no one was home so we just got some b roll of the scenery. There were 3 tents set up in his back yard, inside the tents were like mini bedrooms filled with big comforters, pillows, one even had a night Lamp inside. Monday we will return to Barkers house to get actual footage of the Isralites cooking, praying and celebrating the feast days being over.
